Campaign For The Introduction Of A Malaysian Word

This SMS Campaign have been going for the last two months and it deserves our support. It reads:

There are possible plans underway to apply to the Oxford and Webster Dictionary to introduce a new word for their latest 2009 edition.

badawi (baa-daa-wee) v.t. To start something full of promise but end in disappointment, failure and/or disaster. eg. 1. I'm trusting you too perform this task well. Don't do a badawi, ok? 2. France badawied their Euro 2008 campaign. 3. England pre-badawied theirs, while Italy were guilty of over-badawification!

Certainly a useful word to describe a certain specific action. This is another accolade for Malaysia which no more seek to Boleh (Can do) but surprisingly is seeking to attain Cemerlang, Gemilang and Terbilang (Glorious, Outstanding and Distinction).

Husin see another derived word, badawilisation to describe the disillusion to start a new civilisation or religion but it is too confusing to be understood and although end up as failure and disappointment, still is being pursued. eg. Islam Hadhari.

Wow! Make more money selling people than camels ma ...

p/s= x puas ati aku... bkn dia menang pu pilihan raya nak suruh orang blah???

Being a muslim, behave like a muslim, especially being a leader to a muslim country.

Ni dok cerita pasal nak cari Shafie dan Ghazali, tapi dok meraba orang punya bini.

Cita pasal tak nak duit berjuta, tapi anak dan menantu dok buat harta.

But I should not be complaining as we are all being badawied by Dollah Al-Tidori.

How about introducing other new words like

kayjay - (adj) those who use sijil nikah to grab fortune and power; example: Khairy mengahwini Nori atas tujuan kayjaynya sendiri.

brader - ...... you know what la!!!
