There are possible plans underway to apply to the Oxford and Webster Dictionary to introduce a new word for their latest 2009 edition.badawi (baa-daa-wee) v.t. To start something full of promise but end in disappointment, failure and/or disaster. eg. 1. I'm trusting you too perform this task well. Don't do a badawi, ok? 2. France badawied their Euro 2008 campaign. 3. England pre-badawied theirs, while Italy were guilty of over-badawification!
